RTET stands for Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test . RTET is a state level Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). RTET  is being conducted by Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSC). The official website for RTET 2012 exam is

The implementation of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education (RTE) Act, 2009 requires the recruitment of a large number of teachers across the country (Teacher's Job in India) in a time bound manner. Inspite of the enormity of the task, it is desirable to ensure that quality requirement for recruitment of teachers are not diluted at any cost. It is therefore necessary to ensure that persons recruited as teachers possess the essential aptitude and ability to meet the challenges of teaching at the primary and upper primary level.
All questions will be Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each carrying one mark, with four alternatives out of which one answer will be correct. There will be no negative marking.  RTET Answer key will be provided by RTET
There will be two papers of the RTET. Paper I (Level -1) will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes I to V. Paper II (Level -2) will be for a person who intends to be a teacher for classes VI to VIII.
RTET Level –  1
There were 150 objective multiple choice questions in this RTET Paper. This Question Booklet is made up of five sections: Section- I, II, III, IV & V of 30-30 question each. The candidates have to attempt all sections. Each question is f one mark. Here is no negative marking for wrong question. The time period was 90 Minutes.

RTET Level - 2

There were 150 objective multiple choice questions in this paper. This Question Booklet is made up of four Sections: Section- I, II & III of 30-30 question each and Section IV is of 60 Questions. The candidates have to attempt all sections. Each question is of one mark. There was no negative marking for wrong answer. The time period was 90 Minutes.
